Impatience Leads to Adoration

This is basically Alton Brown's recipe for pickled pork. I will be using it in a recipe this weekend. As I was writing this down, so I could get what I needed at the store, the following exchange occurred:

L: Are you almost done?
Me: Wait a sec.
(scribble, scribble, drawing pig)
L: That is adorable! You should
put that on your blog!

So, I did. Erm....ta da!
